Part of the African Horse Safaris Collective. Worldwide Horse Safaris was born from more than a decade of doing exactly what we love most: riding horses and discovering the world from the saddle.

Our founding company, African Horse Safaris, has spent more than 10 years specialising in horse riding holidays across Africa. During that time, we’ve ridden thousands of kilometres, worked alongside exceptional horsemen and women, built long-standing relationships with trusted riding operators and, most importantly, learnt what makes a riding holiday genuinely worth travelling for. Now, we’re taking that experience beyond Africa.

We’ve always said our mission is to get as many people addicted to riding holidays as we are. And once that bug bites, it’s hard not to start wondering where you could ride next. Africa was where our journey began, but our curiosity certainly didn’t end there. As riders, we’ve always wanted to experience different landscapes, cultures, horses and riding traditions from the saddle. That curiosity has taken us from the African bush to South America, and now across the rest of the world.

Worldwide Horse Safaris brings together a carefully curated collection of horse riding holidays across Europe, the UK, North America and beyond. From riding through spectacular landscapes and staying in beautiful places to immersing yourself in local equestrian traditions, every ride has been chosen because it offers something genuinely special.

The destinations may change, but our approach doesn’t: exceptional horses, brilliant riding, authentic experiences and people we know and trust. We’re here to help riders discover the world the way we love to discover it ourselves: from the saddle.

We’re not your average travel agent. Our team are riders, travel addicts and always seeking out new adventures. We’re a team of women who spend our working days talking horses, riding holidays and destinations, and our time off dreaming about where we can ride next. We’ve ridden the trails, stayed at the lodges, crossed the countryside and experienced these holidays for ourselves.

That means when you ask us whether a ride really is suitable for your experience, what the horses are like, how challenging the terrain feels or whether you’ll actually be comfortable spending six hours in the saddle, we’re not answering from a brochure. We’re drawing on our own experience.

And that’s important to us. Choosing a riding holiday isn’t quite like booking an ordinary holiday. You’re trusting someone to get the details right: the horses, the riding, the pace, the terrain, the accommodation and all those little things that can make the difference between a good trip and an extraordinary one.
